Corporate Finance, 10th edition Description
Corporate Finance, by Ross, Westerfield, and Jaffe emphasizes the modern fundamentals of the theory of finance, while providing contemporary examples to make the theory come to life. The authors aim to present corporate finance as the working of a small number of integrated and powerful intuitions, rather than a collection of unrelated topics. They develop the central concepts of modern finance: arbitrage, net present value, efficient markets, agency theory, options, and the trade-off between risk and return, and use them to explain corporate finance with a balance of theory and application. The Tenth Edition includes many exciting new research findings as well as an enhanced Connect Finance, now with even more student learning resources.

The text format, fonts, and colors made that guide easy to read. It is great how they incorporated technology into the textbook by the use of scannable QR Codes that take you to the latest current events; excel problems with online resources; and explanatory website links.
Each chapter begins with a contemporary short essay that highlights the concepts in the chapter with current real-world examples. What I great way to introduce a topic- I actual caught myself saying “Wow” out laud after reading one of them!
I purchased the book for an MBA level course I’m taking, but also found it applicable for use in my career/business.

There is an awful lot of content missing from the chapters as compared to the slides that are given with the book. Some material is never even mentioned in the book, but are included on the slides with no description. The information skipped over is critical information regarding the assumptions made.
