Walking Disaster: Disaster, Book 2 Description
How much is too much to love?
Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.
In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.
Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times best seller Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.

**SPOILERS**
First of all, I loved Beautiful Disaster...read it in one sitting, then reread my favorite parts many times. So, I was honestly excited to hear the story from Travis's perspective. That being said, with the exception of a few passages, I found this book very boring since I've already read it -- in the better form of Beautiful Disaster.
The good: We do get to hear more details about Travis's family, which was nice. We also get to learn about what Travis was thinking in Vegas fighting, and his feelings during the break-up after Vegas. For me, these were the only enlightening parts of the story, where we learn something new. And most importantly, we get a really sweet, if slightly disjointed, Epilogue. This was the best part of the book for me since it was original material, and even if I didn't think it necessarily made sense with the story, it was very cute.
The bad: The first book was very dialogue-driven, so this book is a ton of the same exact dialogue in the exact same order with absolutely nothing added. Thanks, but I don't need that. I already had a good idea what Travis was thinking based on Abby's interpretation of his feelings in BD. Therefore, this book was almost 80% pointless as far as I'm concerned (I've already read it!). Also, some of Travis's internal thoughts hurt the love story (I don't want to hear his thoughts that Abby is cranky or bitchy or how he thinks about the other women in the book). But what really ticked me off was when the parts I actually cared about hearing from Travis's perspective were left out! We don't get his feelings from when he first sees her, or his thoughts when she is attacked at the fight, or their wedding! All of these were skipped over.
