Plenty of information. Lots of math equations, diagrams and specs. You'll get a good understanding in how electricity works and how it's made. Well worth the money for any apprentice lineman.

I have an older version of this book; about 15 years old. I was a bit surprised at how little the book has changed since then. I donated my old one to the office library.
If you have one of these and they're not older than 15 years old, you can probably do without purchasing a new one for at least another 5 years.
Still, there are a lot of changes coming down with power distribution equipment. The basics stay the same, but the equipment is changing fast to accommodate the de-regulated market, "smart-grid" (whatever the heck that really is), and a general consensus that electrical distribution have minimal environmental impact.
